All desks are shipped via third-parties and not by Xdesk employees. We typically ship desks that are less than 64 inches in width via Federal Express. Desks that are 64 inches and larger desks must be shipped via truck lines due to size limitations of Federal Express packages. For large desks, Xdesk uses the best truck carriers in the business to make sure your Xdesk gets to you on time and in good condition. You will have the option of picking up your Xdesk at a local dock, or making an appointment to have Xdesk delivered to your home.
Xdesk will gladly ship products worldwide to most international destinations. The Xdesk Online Store ships within the United States of America and Canada. Due to COVID risks, the driver will bring the desk to the end of the driveway at the delivery location. Most companies do not allow delivery drivers to bring the products inside your home. The carrier will typically call to schedule a delivery appointment. Appointments are available during normal business hours and a 4 hour period. Please include a daytime phone number in the shipping information at the time of checkout.In some cases the driver cannot bring the product under any structure. With some third-party delivery companies used to deliver large desks over 64 inches, the driver may not offer to remove the item from their truck. If available in your area, inside delivery typically costs an extra $150. Extraordinary delivery requirements such as a multi-level building may require additional delivery charges.
Many of our desks are large and rather heavy. Do not sign for a package before you inspect it. First, inspect the box for obvious damage. We then recommend that you open the box that contains the desktop to inspect for concealed damage. Once the driver leaves it becomes the buyer’s responsibility to file a claim. Call the carrier immediately for instructions or visit their website for detailed instructions. Shipping damage must be also be reported to Xdesk on the day of receipt by calling or messaging via email or our contact us page.
Each Xdesk is custom manufactured in the order it is received. Please see the respective product page in our online store for a shipping estimate. Custom desks or L-desks typically require 30 – 60 days for manufacturing. Since the actual delivery date of your order can be affected by events outside of our control, shipping and transit times may vary. In general, allow 2-5 days for transit. All shipping dates are approximate and may be impacted by product shortages or reduced labor availability during COVID. In the event that add on accessories are not available, we will ship the desk and desktop and then ship the accessory when available.
We believe you'll be thrilled with your new Xdesk. That's because we go out of our way to ensure each Xdesk is designed and built to be just what you want. We understand, however, that sometimes a product is not a good fit for you or your space for whatever reason. We recognize that sometimes an item may not meet your needs, was not what you had hoped for, or simply does not fit with your decor or space. If you are unsatisfied for any reason with your purchase, you can return or exchange it within 30 days of delivery. Returned items must be new and in unused condition. In that unlikely event, we invite you to return it. Special orders where custom work is selected are non-refundable.
You may return your undamaged Xdesk with the receipt and packing within 30 days of purchase for a full refund of the purchase price less the cost of shipping. If Xdesk is returned within this timeframe in its original condition, we'll exchange it for a new one or offer a refund based on the original payment method. If an order received free shipping, then the credit issued will be reduced by an amount equal to the free shipping value. To return items for an exchange or refund please contact us via email or phone for an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization).
Prior to shipping your item back to Xdesk, you must call or visit our contact us page to obtain an RGA number. You must ship any product to the address given to you when your RGA is issued. It is important to write the RGA number on the outside of each box so we may issue the credit to you. We ship items from multiple warehouses across the United States. Therefore, it is very important to contact us so we can provide the correct return warehouse address. Prior to shipping your item back to Xdesk, you must call or visit our contact us page to obtain an RGA number. To avoid damage during the return, it is required that you ship any return to Xdesk in its original packaging or equivalent packaging. You must ship any product to the address given to you when your RGA is issued. We encourage you to make a return or exchange in a timely manner because damaged, worn or altered items may be refused or result in an adjustment to your refund.
Special orders are made just for you! At the time of your order, the website will give you an estimated lead-time for your order. Unfortunately delays can occur, and we will notify you with updates as soon as we receive this information. We will do our very best to get your order to you as quickly as possible, but COVID has made this more difficult than ever and unexpected delays can occur. You may cancel or change your special order within 24 hours of placing your order without a cancellation fee. Thereafter, your special order cannot be cancelled or changed without cancellation/restocking fees. These fees are up to 50% of your order depending on: a) the status of the special order at the time you decide to cancel; and b) the type of product(s) you purchased.
The way your refund is processed depends on your original payment method. Credit card refunds wil be issued to the same card bank within 7 business days of receipt of the returned item. If you paid via cash or check, we will mail you a check to your billing address within 14 days of receipt of the returned product.
